Effective Addiction Treatment
At Compass Detox, we understand that recovery is a process that often requires multiple levels of care to help a client get back on the feet. Although we are a detox facility, we do have relationships with amazing residential and outpatient treatment centers that offer all levels of care. As our clients approach the end of their detox stay, we help facilitate their admission to a rehab program offering the next level of care that best meets their needs. For many clients, the next level of care is Partial Hospitalization, also known as PHP.
What is PHP?
Partial Hospitalization is the highest level of outpatient care. While admitted to a PHP program, clients will live in a sober house or sober living community while dedicating a significant portion of their time to addiction programming. In fact, between 25-30 hours a week will be spent on recovery and treatment. The types of programming that one may partake in include:
When is PHP Needed?
- Individual counseling
- Group Therapy
- Group Activities
- Alternative Therapies

Getting Admitted to a PHP Facility
When selecting a partial hospitalization program, it is important to consider a number of factors. This includes accreditation, experience, location, amenities, staff, and any special circumstances. As mentioned above, our team at Compass Detox works with each individual client to ensure their recovery is tailors to their individual needs. This includes helping clients select a PHP program that is best for them. However, all clients must complete a detox program before they can be admitted to any PHP, IOP, outpatient program.
